Matt,

You know what I'm getting at.  In one breath NWH is slagging of 'DIYers' and bragging he only buys off the shelf stuff - because he can -  saying he wouldn't mess about in sheds with gaffer tape, and then in the next post he's trying to flog some second hand DIY kit for £70 and wants cash and won't give a receipt.

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from him; he sounds dodgier than a NAAFI watch.

This was quoted on Brodex website...........

(You do not wash the dishes at home with cold water do you? Nor do you wash the dishes at home with out detergent therefore it is not the hot water alone that clean them. Brodex have spent 1000’s of pounds researching the cleaning power of pure water and have concluded that it is the Structure of the pure water it’s self that does the cleaning not the temperature of the water this has little or no effect. In 2007 a leading Resin supplier warned the industry that Hot de-ionised water could actually be corrosive and detrimental to some framework because oxygen will leave the water at high temperatures resulting in a higher concentration of dissolved carbon dioxide which increase it’s acidity. Brodex advice in stubborn dirt scenarios to either pre-treat with detergent or double clean to avoid costly law suits due to damage. )

is there any truth in this?

Complete poo every word of that, hot water cleans far far better than cold water.Anyone telling you otherwise either can`t afford it or they`ve never used it.It`s not just dirty first cleans either,on regular cleans it wins hands down.

so it takes up hardly any space in the back unlike the omnipole 1.

Compact Size only -14" Wide x 14" High x 24" Long

Heat Rise from input - 65 degrees F at 4 litres a minute, 52 degrees at 6 litres a minute

11/2" Stainless Steel Exhaust fitted through floor of vehicle

Is it smaller than this?

Length 20" width 8" Height 28" and the exhaust is hidden so you won`t burn anything on it when it`s on.Some have this sitting up in the vehicle in a half loop this 1 dosen`t it goes straight out the floor from the heater.

The 1 i`ve used for about a month with fittings all you have to do is connect water in and water out £50 with gas refill adapter £75,or the new 1 £150 with gas adapter for cheap refills or £110 on it`s own.Don`t forget i`ve paid for shipping into uk etc.
