Matt you`ve talked me into it you can have it for free lol, being serious they do work but it`s not for me it gets the water to hot to use and providing you can put it somewhere or have something round it to stop the flame going out it will be reliable.

Judging by your posts, maybe he doesn't want to do business with you.

I wouldn't.

it was very cold over the weekend and i didnt drain it, and it cracked the small copper pipe in the radiator, ive tried sealing it with silicone first time didnt bond very well, done it again and will test this morning,

if that doesnt work will look and seeing if i can solder a new piece in, but its right on the bend so its tough

Post a picture of the part,.. once its not the heat exchanger itself, I might have a spare,....

Is it the brass elbow that connects between the cold water inlet and the heat exchanger that burst? If so, I have a spare,...

its a u bend shape,

split right on the end,

if you were to look inside its right at the tops as the pipes go across the vent to heat the water, it was a big split but because the copper is malleable, i pinched back together,

over the weekend i will heat the copper up with a blow torch to melt the solder into place using an iron was no good
