The 1 i`m getting is better aswell because it`s since been reduced in size in overall footprint so it takes up hardly any space in the back unlike the omnipole 1.

What's your running cost with gas (both bottles and refilling)  against your £20 per week diesel cost.

Put it this way i used gas for under 2 weeks and had to get a refill at £17,i got a refill adapter which you can use at petrol stations and this reduces the cost by half about £8-9 to top up.You also have the hassle of having to go and get a new bottle and changing it over,£5 a day on the deisel heater so it`s minimal and no need to touch it.

You cant go wrong. Ive also got a thermopure, and thats what ionics use for them!

The costs don't really matter, as NWH said the advantages are huge. He obviously does not feel happy with the gas and thinks it's dangerous and not legal. As he feels that way he is doing the right thing. Even the people who spend up to ten grand never regret it ( by the way tennent clean hasn't posted for a while has he).

Bear in mind with costs you don't have to have the hot turned on all the time, but supposing you did it the running costs would be £2 gas , £7 diesel to heat 600litre usage.

I'm in the £2 gang, but if I was ever stopped from using my on demand system i would go this route too.
