The L5 Heater Thread
« on: October 20, 2008, 09:55:41 pm »
My L5 Heater arrived today from the States - less than a week from ordering :)

A well made, very compact unit - that should fit nicley on the back door of my van -

Just need a few bits, and a gas bottle to get it going.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Hay Nathanael.

Did you get my mail concerning the relays?

Do I need a 6volt or 12 volt relay?

I've a brought 12volt relay  from you , off Ebay. But after reading some of the posts, I'm a bit confused which is going to work best.

Its an additional safety feature AND it helps with the 20 minute cuttout issue too.
Basically it connects to your pump wires, and switches off the heater whenever the pump stops,... resetting the 20 minute timer etc. It becomes impossible for the heater to run unless the pump is also running.

Why can`t you just turn down the temp of it,it say`s on the site no water no heat so why would you need to turn the pump off.
