Is it something to do with tents or camping? How much did you pay for your website?

Love the testimonial on the website:

"Mr Jones - Basingstoke.
Yeah yeah, the guy was great. Blah blah blah."

I may be missing the point here, but in my case someone who is starting out why would I want to pay up to 4x the value of my round getting someone to knock doors on my behalf. I am a confident guy, it is my business and they are my customers so I will go get them myself. That way I get a feel for the customer, the property, the area and most importent the customer gets to meet me and we can build a relationship from the start.

Just my opinion  ;D

its never been X4 generally its x2 and i myself am i window cleaner and use canvassers on my round and although your right in what you say people use us because its a small price to pay to generate serious amounts of annual income what for they pay us, either people are too busy and require us to canvass large amounts for thier team to clean or smaller sole traders just to improve the quality of thier round so maybe they send us to businesses or industrial estates etc, some people dont like canvassing and if your really want to reach out and cement a decent future in window cleaning and secure income the fastest way and the best way to reinvest is back into your company by canvassing your surrounding houses or area. regards ryan

Good luck mate, just make sure you do a better job then a lot of the canvassing companys that are out there, I think being a window cleaner yourself will be a benefit, I can see where your coming from with you prices as you could spend hours only getting £7 jobs, why do you chose to build other peoples businesses and not spend the time on your own and canvass work, what is your minimum amount to canvass.

we dont have a minimum, our round is really big enough we both have families and responsibilties but really enjoy canvassing and the buzz we dont make stupid amounts and we like to canvass quality work as its what we'd want ourselves in chester i cant stress enough how different we are to every other company thanks for leaving a comment though. ryan

and sorry to go on but wouldnt it be refreshing for a canassing company to come get u work and leave with no strings no problems we had a large wel know company we might take a while longer but we dont come stinkin of booze and complaining the territory's no good. we just want to be the best out there and make cast iron name for ourselves

I'm only playing Devils advocat, I know there are people out there who do have a need for round builders and who knows I may have a need for one in time myself.

Hang on, you're a window cleaner who canvases rounds for other window cleaners, yet you use other canvasing companies to canvas "your" round. Something doesn't sound right to me.  ::)
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.
