you'll probably need to use a blowtorch to get enough heat into the copper so the solder will stick properly

good luck, I did a car radiator once. it worked a treat!

you might find you're better with some thick solder and separate flux than the thin flux-cored solder which you use more for electrical applications

have you tried chemical metal, to try and repair it, could be worth a go??

Quick question on the temperture of the water when using an L5? What should it be? And on a full day cleaning (7 hours) how much gas will i use? I know it vary from person to person but just a rough idea if you can

A 6kg gas bottle will only last just over a week if your using it for that time everyday maybe not quiet as long,the setting i used it on for cold days was no further than a third of the way round the dial,it gets hotter than you think.

just installing an L5 to my wfp system and could do with a bit of help regarding the wiring of the 6v relay.could someone tell me just where are the wires we need to connect to in the L5 ? do we need to take the housing apart of the L 5?

The heater runs off of 2 large batterys,all they do is ignite the flame and they should last quiet a while.
