John I've just got quick release tap connections on at the moment ( and are working fine),  until I get round to getting some plumbing type fittings.

As far as I know you are OK carrying gas, but let your insurance company know - and obviously secure the gas tank down.

I use a 100PSi pump, and water if you wish will come out steaming !! but I personally have it around 30degrees C.

The water takes about 2 to 3 minutes coming through 100mtrs of hose before it gets up to temp.

really stupid question but could i run 3 poles from 3 varistreams & pumps with 1 heater.  if so does the heater go b4 the pumps ( ie between the tank outlet & the pumps)
or does it go efter the pump so i wud need 3 heaters, ???

Keep a close eye on the water temp until your used to, and confident with the heater.  Mine was running a bit too hot this morning on some single glazed glass - and some nasty creaking noises were heard, at which point I pulled the brush away from the glass VERY quickly. ::) :o ::)

I must say though, the extra cleaning power a bit of heat  in the water is ..  ;D

I'm not sure it drys completely quicker, but it begins to start to dry quicker - if that makes sense.  So, you can see if a rouge streak is about to appear very quickly.

The only thing I have noticed is I'm using more water - I think this is due to the hose expanding more under the pressure.  So you get a gush of water when turning the brush on, but eventually levels out. But even so I'm using a fair bit more.

I think eventually I may invest in some Thermobore, or maybe I just need a decent flow controller :-\.

To be honest that's the only negative I can find with using hot water - cleaning with hot water just feels right somehow.  After a week of using it in cold conditions - would I like to go back to just cold, I don't think I would.

On salted windows I think hot water cleaning is pretty much the perfect method for window cleaning. I've done a few properties this week that normally give me salt streak problems, but this week there was a vast improvement in the quality of clean on these types of window. The odd rogue salt streak, but no where near as many. Normally I have to go round a second time to get them perfect , but this week just the only odd pane to rerinse.

You say your using more water but i thought you had to use a lower flow rate in order to have hotter water.
