i'm running 2x reels from one (100 psi aquatec pump, 1000L tank) is there any reason why 1 heater wont heat the water for both reels?

and does hot REALLY make a speed and cleaning difference?

cheers

greg

ps i think my wife might leave if i spend any more time/money on my setup in the garage/van so it needs to be worth it!!!!

I don't know...

With my universal controller I don't get any real control over flow anyway.. If I turn the controller down then the heater won't fire up.

I'm tempted to get a Varisstream, or have a look at the Gardiners new controller.

Its not a major problem, but one I'll sort out soonish.

It`s not a new controller it`s a rebadged eco-flo.

had my L5 heater working today ......... i thought it was being over hyped but i must admit it is a lot better than cold i found it great at lifting hard bird and spider poo!.
anyone who wants to go hot this is definately the way to go
i think i will be going for some thermobore hose or similar though as when a lot of hose was out it did affect the temp,
anyone know of good offers anywhere?
bad weather always looks worse through dirty windows

OK, im jumping on the HOT wfp bandwagon!

Just ordered my L5 @ 180.00 USD = 113.381 GBP incl delivery.

Ive finally got found to properly waterproofing the entire rear of the van with protectakote, and silcone sealing all the joints in the ply lining..  So the new look inside is gonna be a good looking workspace for all my gear :P

Really looking forward to using the hot water too, not only for warmer hands but better cleaning results, on fascias etc not just on the glass!

Gonna need to include the *HOT* system on my promo material now!

Keep up the good work guys, glad i joined this place, its been a real pleasure to improve my services from all the ideas from your helpful good selves..  On behalf of my custies.. I thank you! :D

lol, she'll never notice your hose has turned red instead of yellow!

to all, does the extra 2mm od make the hose mich heavier/difficult to work with?

i have a gas heater  on my wfp system and it works well.i dont heat the water that often though as its expensive to run.it also taakes a couple of hours to heat the tank.
it does keep the pole nice and warm though.also last winter my collegues had a few mornings off due to freezing ,i of coarse was able to carry on as usual ;)

What fittings are people using to fit the water in and out pipes, there smaller than the normal hoselock fittings.Anyone idea what size they are and where you can get them,if i can i want to use hoselock connectors for the time being.

i went to b and q and they sell brass tap adapters you now the one there is a smaller one and then another one screws onto that and then there is a male hoselock

thats what ive been using and its quite good. remember not to put and end stop on the hot water out or it wont work

Seven bays, what you say about flow usage and firing up is true. A varistream won't alter that in any way.

I use varistreams, but the situation you describe is unaltered.

Nathaeneal has got round this by introducing mods, but I am strongly against this.

There is a 17 min saftey feature on it,if you change poles does it turn off or fire up again once water is flowing, the way that it works i would presume that it fires up again am i right. And steve don`t you heat after DI.
