Switches the water on ok but when the pole hose is pulled again to switch off, the switch near the brush head doesn't turn enough to close the water down completely, so constantly half on or off.

The A/D was fine using cold water and warm water but using hot water the pole is much stretchier and water won't shut off properly using HOT water.

Hello,

OK, so if you use cold water now with this Aqua-dapter and hose it is still fine, or have you not tried cold since?

Haven't tried cold since. Love the aquadapter but love working with hot water as much quicker to clean.

That's fine, we want to make sure it works for you with hot water too, but if you could try with cold it will help us to narrow down the cause of the problem.

I've found your account now, so if you could email us with the results (if you don't mind trying with cold water) then we can resolve it with you and report back here later for anyone who's interested.

Hi Paul, I have the new Gardiner Carbone fibber gooseneck and I am just wondering if you have come up with any new idea to fit these kind of poles?

Hi Bosh,

You might find this of interest: http://www.aqua-dapter.co.uk/products/Carbon-Gooseneck-Adapter.html

Only had a quick scan of comments about aquadapter turning on but not turning off properly.
This happens with me, with hot and cold using mk2 adapter. All you have to do is give the hose a little push so it releases pressure on the turning mechanism, I do this either just after turning on so its ready or just before turning off. I do not think its a real problem, It does not slow me down at all. I use my 8mm hose as pole hose so the weight of that pulling on the spring probably does not help, But like i say its not an issue for me, I love the aqua-dapter.

True Chopsie. If it does not turn on or off just push the hose upwards a tad first before pulling down.
I now always just push up then pull down as a matter of routine. It works fine.

Hi Dave, Dazmond,

having got one of your adapters but didnt recive the hose with it dose the hose come f o c ?  unfortunatley i could not get on with it may be it was the hose i used ?? i tried a riged ish hose witch seemed ok at first but soon faild

We did email dave f about this.  The normal price includes Aqua-dapter, Screw Thread Adapter and 10m of our hose.  There are hose options to select from: "No hose (not recommended)" which knocks a bit off the price or "30m hose" for a little extra.

The "No hose (not recommended)" option is really there for customers who know they already have suitable hose, or who have already purchased hose from us (perhaps a 30m reel) and so have enough to use with another Aqua-dapter.

dave f chose the "No hose (not recommended)" option, so we didn't send any.  We think this is why he "didn't get on with it".

Hope that explains it for you.

Paul

Hi Darran,

I remember you mentioning that you'd like to see us come up with something for the quick-release Carbon goosenecks.  The picture is just a snap of the prototype at the moment, but we'll get some proper shots done when it's in stock.

Hopefully it will be useful for anyone who want to use these products but still have the water-saving and convenience of the Aqua-dapter :)

Hi Paul - yes it was me who asked.

it's looks like a super idea - it looks like a small extention piecr that will screw onto the end of the AD.

if thats the case, in your opinion will the AD still work as good if this piece was kept on the AD all the time
using the various end pieces you can get from gardiners  or will the extra length be a strain on the
mechanism ?
