I think they are brilliant, saves water, no loop if toy have a tap on you pole at the moment, less hassle than picking a tap up off the floor, I love mine, easy to turn off so that you can give the sill a wipe to stop the water dripping if it so much.

If you put leereed in the cupon box you will get a five off, I also get a five credit on my account.

Lee is right, here's a little more info... there's a pipe/stem that comes out of the Aqua-dapter and connects to the pole hose.  On the Mk1 the pipe was plastic.

Some people with Mk1s are still using them with hot water systems and they've been fine, but there were some problems reported.  Possibly due to some using higher water temperatures the plastic would soften slightly and this led to other issues so we replaced a handful of units.

As the Mk2 was imminent at the time we changed the material for the pipe from plastic to Aluminium, and since then there haven't been any problems with hot water systems.

If you want, you can read about the other changes from Mk1 to Mk2 on our blog.

Hi,

Although it does a similar job, it's not really like a trigger, as it goes at the top of the pole rather than at the bottom, so there's no loop of hose.  You operate it by pulling the hose, once you've switched the water on (or off) you're free to move your hands anywhere on the pole.

Here's a picture:
If you click on it you'll go to the animated versions of the Mk1 on the website (scroll to the bottom of the page for the 2nd picture).

I'll be around for a while if you have any other questions.

The Mk2 was made to accommodate a Screw Thread Adapter which screws on to the existing end screw and then the Aqua-dapter clamps to that.  No modification to the pole is required.

There are screw threads to suit metal (e.g. Gardiner) and plastic (i.e. German Thread) end screws and the aluminium collars from the Brodex Hydra range.

Hope that helps.

Yes, it's good to see it working.  Whereabouts are you, which Dave?

You can see the action of it in the 2nd picture at the bottom of the page http://www.aqua-dapter.co.uk/pages/Why-use-Aqua%252ddapter%3F.html#how-does-it-work and there's videos of it being used on the videos page.  We're hoping to update those soon.

Must have been writing while you edited, missed this before :-)  Yes, it comes with 10m of our hose.

The hose is automatically bundled with the Aqua-dapter, the Screw Thread Adapter needs to be added separately (you have to choose the type you need).

EDIT: We've changed this now, so that the price includes Aqua-dapter, Screw Thread Adapter & Hose, just make your selections from the drop-down boxes.
