This is all making me feel better as i am not working, but feel i am motivated beyond anyone else here. When i do work the hammer will most certainly go down, and then we'll see who are men and who are boys.
A few have posted that they have bills to pay and i feel sorry for these. When we can work get a mate to help catch up and see if you can earn more.
why do you feel you are motivated beyond anyone else here slump?
i would say 99% of us would get out there and work if was remotely possible,
i got stuck in the van a couple of times today before giving it up to deliver leaflets instead.
but i dont feel good about myself for doing it, i felt peed off that i could not work in the usual way....but i certainly would not think bad of anyone who stayed at home in this weather.
So i dont think motivation is the key in this big freeze, hence people are lightheartedly commenting on how they are spending their extra days off,
Some are struggling financially and worrying about how to pay the bills and feed the family, ..also it may be hard for people to save all year for a weeks holiday, let alone put money aside for bad weather....i know in my case, some months i just about cover everything with nothing left to put aside.
I hope this weather changes very quickly for us all... but especially for the people struggling to keep their families going... straight after an expensive christmas.. which includes time off work, and now this big freeze forcing us to stay at home again.
Its tough at the moment.
