Think of it another way....you do a much better job and clean the frames etc so if you clean for any of the other neighbours they are likely to recommend you on.

got a call from a customer today "please can you look at my windows" i was in the area so no probs
looked like they had not been done in about six months.
then she says"the window cleaner has been calling for payment every two weeks"
she finally chased him today.....anyway i was totally astounded so i got the gear out and made them all sparkly for her another new customer for me one less for the cowboys

frames aside are you saying it took 3 men to do 4 houses in twenty minutes? ok so thats 48 squid between three times that by three thats a price of 48 quid an hour. fair play to them and why not. sometimes i hit that but mostly not. but remember if someone has had a trad cleaner that doesnt do frames for the last thirty years they are hardly going to worry when he goes wfp

Some round here where i live are giving the WFP a bad name too as they dont know how to use it, ive a woman onto me saying about a guy doing hers for £6 but not even doing the frames(how this can be done i have no idea) and he even manages to spray jets into the vents and the dirt just runs down them, he also manages to spray inside the house too but nevertheless she still is paying him along with half the park and why...............cos he lives in the same estate as them all, they dont want to offend, by feck im glad i dont have any in my park, maybe thats the reason why.

how can you say you cant clean 4 houses in twenty minutes with three lads. you dont even know how big the housse is. me and my lad can do that easily on small two bed terraced and do the frames and doors. i pull the hose out and do the fronts its only 4 top windows and 4 livingroom windows and 4 doors. the lad goes round the back and its two up two down so 16 tiny windows with a backpack, it takes me about ten minutes and by the time ive got the reel and pole put away the lad is finnishing the back while i ticket the 4 house all well under 20 minutes

As I've said in a previous post, there is only one guy local to me who uses wfp, but I've heard from allot of people that there not happy with the results. I've had this from my own brother who had him do his place for a while and another local cleaner has told me he's heard the same. I even had it today when I was canvassing, one lady asked do you use one of those pole things, I told her that I don't, so she said "that's fine can you do them every month then".

Now I'm hoping to go wfp when funds allow, but it's not going to be easy convincing my customers as the've only heard they leave the windows streaky.

3 Men 4 houses in twenty minutes should be a doddle assuming they are normal( if there is such a thing) 3 bed houses doing them trad let alone wfp. Each guy should easily be able to clean a house in 15 minutes so thats 3 out of the way then all three do the last in 5 minutes....just because they do not clean the frames they cannot be called cowboys, if the windows are bad then maybe but not because they are quicker than you.

How do you know each house is £12 anyway?

if they good and quick like me  lol,then they shud be able to do that no probs,dependin on how many windows they is,wen i work wid my mate theys 3 of us and we can fair fly thru terraced houses in no time,be we dont charge no where near £12 lol no i guess it depends on how much windows they are,and how easy the access is

why not? jus because idont have one YET dusnt mean i avnt seen them in action and know wat to do with em,i have plenty of mates who have em and iv seen em bein used many of times,and iv seen the results of a bad wfp window cleaner,and of good,so yeh i am in a position thanks
