what should the tds be after the ro ? should it be about 14? this is what i had earlier now its 78 .

You have a rubber seal near the top of the membrane and a plastic tube at the top, this should be pointing to the end with the screw on cap, as the water goes into the middle of the membrane.

It should be between 010 and 020, depending on water pressure and size of the RO etc.

all sounds and looks right. do you think i may need to flush it again? i flushed it for 2 half hours when i first set it up.

jay i flushed mine for another 3 hours today, no difference in fact its worse !!! gonna give pure freedom a broadside tomorrow !!

Tom was the membrane positioned correctly?
The rubber seal and plastic tube at the end should be pointing towards the screw on cap end of the casing.
