A Minute for Madeleine‏
« on: November 03, 2009, 04:04:00 pm »
Hi all
It's been a long time since my last posting but I still log on and read the posts from time to time .
any way the reason for this posting is as the title sugests.
please take the time to check out the link and then past it to an e-mail and send to every one in your contacts list.
and post it on any other forums you may be on.. Thank you

Please take a minute of your time for Madeleine McCann and help spread this special message around the world.

A new film has been released by the UK’s police organisation for child protection - the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre - aimed at anyone close to the person who was involved in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. That person could be a relative, friend, work colleague or neighbour. Whoever they are, they have a secret that could reveal what happened to Madeleine.

In order to reach that person, CEOP are asking for the public’s help to share this message virally, via the internet, so that the message is so widespread it becomes one click away to the person who knows something about Madeleine’s disappearance.  The message is then a constant reminder that it is never too late to do the right thing, to stop keeping this secret  and pass this vital information to their local police.

You can view the full message which is part of a 60 second film at http://www.ceop.police.uk/
If you are online and part of an online community, you can help.  Post the link on your social networking site, email your friends and colleagues and  encourage them to share the film, blog and Tweet about the film and link to the website above.  Do anything you can to spread this message around the world.

The message is available at http://www.ceop.police.uk/ and is in seven different languages – English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

This initiative is supported by Leicestershire Police, Interpol, Europol and international police agencies as well as specialist charities and NGO’s such as the US National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), Missing Children Europe and the UK charity Parents and Abducted Children Together (PACT).

So, please help.  Take a minute for Madeleine and help share this message around the world.

Thank you

do you not think they say the same thing to themselves everyday, your comment is pointless. Just imagine if you made a silly mistake and someone took your kid, have a heart ::)

I think, if the British police were allowed to work on the case sooner, they would have had a better chance of getting a result. Didn't a missing kid turn up in Greece after about 10 or more years because the Brit police got involved? Seem to remember something like that.

Let's hope for a miracle. I'm a father of 3, my youngest is a 9 year old girl and I don't even want to think what the McCanns have been going through. So as the OP said let's keep this thread up top for a while

Who hasn't let their kids out of sight at home or especially on holiday. I know i have. Does that make me a bad parent? I don't think so. Am i in the 9,999,999 out of 10,000,000 who get away with it? More than likely. Don't ya think if they could turn back the clock, they wouldn't? People slate the Mccanns off but i think the reason this case upsets and plays on the minds of all of us is because we all know.......it could so easily have been any parent on the planet that's goin thru what them poor parents have been through. Negligent...sure, but by god, they didn't deserve that.

i do feel for the parents but round here we have kids as young as 5 they play out on there own right by the main road and one;s in a wheel chair so it dose p me off when they say sorry it should not have happened it should be a lesson learnt for all parent. i have got two kids off mine own and they are not aloud out with out me or the mrs;s and mine are 13 and 11 years old  no good telling the police its to much like hard work for them they just want the easy money off the motorist. (sorry to be so vain)

They done the meal thing. Sure. But did they go on to have a good session afterwards? Not sure that's true. Bottom line is...........as sad as this seems. They aint to blame..........the pond life who felt they had the god given right to steal someone else's child, ultimately are the ones to blame in all this.

theres a differance between letting kids out of your sight and leaving them for the night while you go out with your mates
