Those loverly peeps are GAPS namely June....have just advised that my HF5-4040 and bits are on the way....so...when I get it all I shall be putting together a picture 'walk through - set up' which I hope will help others...but until I am...expert enough

Does anyone have any information about putting together a 4040 system...or indeed any other information such as filter changing periods, etc, etc
My new setup will be to supply me and another w/c with water...
So here are the parts that I shall be using:
HF5-4040 membrane (+housing).
2x 20'' prefilter housings.
2x 13l DI vessels....(may seem overkill but I have my reasons).
1 x 12v Solenoid cutoff switch.
1x Horizontal float switch for the above.
1x Pressure guage
2x inline tds meters.
2x Water meters.

All the fittings are the Hozelock style so getting spares will be a question of nipping to the local DIY store.1 x 12v bilge pump (for filling backpack/trolley or emptying van tank)
Things still to get:
toggle switch for the cutoff switch & bilge pump so I can turn them on/off when required.
Insultation for pipes.
The idea is to be able to make water whilst my van is in the carport and in the event that I have really big water usage days/large jobs I can then place the membrane board into the van and make water whilst on site....
So in the mean time if anyone has any tips and tricks with regard to usage or installation I shall be jolly gratefull.
Oh and not to forget Mike at Varitech is a really good chap to advise on things like cutoff switches/floats and the like...
Cheers
Dave.
