Water input into pre filters.
After pre filters water into RO.
On the other end of the RO waste goes out of the bottom of the RO and the good water comes out of the end.
1 end of the RO should be closed off this is where the membrane goes with the taped line on the membrane being the last to go in,push in tight and replace the white clip.

You should also have a pressure gauge before first pre filter and also 1 after 2nd filter this tells you tap pressure before pre filter and water pressure before RO.

It does that until the bedding in process is over the pressure drops and then suddenly rises,it`s happened more with mine today as it`s not used enough yet.

Just been out fettling in the shed and putting together the backing board for my 4040 system...am building it with the recent -12 to -15 deg temps we had here (Holland)...

I'll be fitting a small boat tube heater with a thermofrost (thermostat) so that it'll start heating at around 3 deg....

Am putting it all together with the cold in mind as I said previously...so all the hoses will be drainable to stop freezing also.

It'll never be the flashest thing out there am building it as far as I can with scraps.

Cheers
Dave.
