I've had a Fiat Doblo fitted out by PureFreedom.

They informed me that i might have to stay overnight, but worked their socks off till around 6.30 ish to get it installed in one day.

I absolutely love the set up i have. I have a 400ltr van mount with 2 of everything. I originally had it installed with the view to have someone working with me but reckon there's not much point because of the speed of wfp. This means i have a spare outlet and pump should anything go wrong with one.

In my opinion they are a cracking bunch of guys. Even dropped me off in Cleethorpe for the day.

I am just about ready to have a second van fitted and wouldn't hesitate in going back to them for another system.

Regards,
Lance

Likewise I was told it may take more than 1 day but they worked till around 6 or 7 to finish it for me. Yeah they are a crackin bunch of lads except for leavin a poor WC in Grimsby for the day.  :o  If u read this Sunshine windows did they put the top on the tank to put stuff on? They did for me and even painted it in my van colours..  yellow. It looks and is the dogs danglies. Like u Sunshine I have plans for world domination and am plannin to put another van on the road early next year and will deffo be goin back to Freedom for the sys.  :P

lol I can just imagine the poor guys coatin a van floor and fittin a sys in 1 day. They would be tryin to get that protectakote off for weeks!!   ;D

Are you saying we are twice the price of Ionics, Brodex, Tucker? :D

I think a more interesting question might be why do Local Authorities, National and International organisations, the transport infrastructure organisations  and the largest 1000 + cleaning companies choose Omnipole or one of the others mentioned above when they could buy cheaper. Why choose a new £20,000+ mercedes, volkswagen when another brand of new vehicle is cheaper. Personally I dont have a thing for trainers but many many do so why do they choose Nike when they could buy George at Asda trainers why do millions choose Kenco or Starbucks coffee everyday when the local cafe makes a cup for a fifth of the cost.

Another question you could also ask is why do ours and probably your window cleaning customers choose to pay more when they could have their windows cleaned far cheaper by someone else. I am sure their are many window cleaners in your area that would happily charge a lot less maybe even a third or a quarter of the cost for window cleaning than you do, so why dont your customers choose them?

didnt really need a lesson on why some things cost more than others ..... i was specifically asking about your omnipole system ... maybe you could have given me a break down of your components vs components of cheaper systems and some pros and cons ......  ::)

I have no idea which other manufacturers systems you are refering to so how can I possibly give you a componant to componant breakdown.
What I can say is that we continously upgrade componants when new better ones become available and the cost of our full systems havent risen in cost since we started building them close on ten years ago.

Sorry NWH I have to disagree with you.

Let me give you a real life example.

I won't mention manufacturers but I have 2 van mounted systems which I have to say I am happy with..  HOWEVER..  system No2 cost me around half of system No1. Actually looks better.. is easier to use and maintain and costs a LOT less to run.

It's got to be a fact that as the WFP market grows it will become more competetive for the suppliers. Not so many years ago the customers were nowhere near as well informed as they are now thanks to forums etc like this one. A well informed customer will make far better buying decisions.

This is a photograph of one of our Pro systems, in this case a hot one.  What can be compaired price wise?.
All items are completly different in design and specification  tank/chassis,water treatment system, floor liner, pole racking, poles, triple pumps in this particular case, split charging relays, return to tank water flow controlers, twin under bumper inlets/outlets. I could post loads of close ups of individual componants to show the difference eg. our standard of securing plates, high tensile steel bolts etc.  but they probably wouldnt mean a lot to most people.
We can and do build systems like the one you refer to and the pricing will be very similar + or - to the price they charge.

I have only just looked at their site.

We would be more than happy to match their price and complete the fitting in a day to the same specification shown on their website.
When do you want it fitted?
Ours will of course be + VAT which I can only assume theirs will be be when their sales reach the threshold.

Hi Glyn (Omnipole):

Does that offer apply to those like myself who have not purchased your Hot Water Unit yet but is booked in to have it fitted next Thursday? :)

Hi Wayne
I was writting with regard to matching the price of their wfp systems, which after seeing the specification of their system as I wrote I am more than happy to match.
They now charge the same price as us for a hot water system - they were charging £500 more
Looking forward to fitting your unit next week its in stock waiting for you, we changed the design for our units and the exhaust outlet now comes out directly through the floor in stainless hose, I will supply you FOC a 25 litre steel jerry can with steel cage all nicely fitted.

My cage hasnt been rattled at all.
I am just saying based on their spec I will hapily match the price and be smilling.
The VAT comment is based on the point that if you buy somthing of high value you expect the seller to be registered for VAT, otherwise what long term experiance could they possibly have in their chosen business.

Hi Glyn, that's very kind of you. :)

I asked about possibly fitting an internal roof rack in my short wheelbase, high roof, Iveco Daily and you mentioned that I would need to let you know the internal dimensions of my van.
Would it be possible to have an internal roof rack fitted in my Iveco Daily of the size that would normally fit in a long wheelbase Fiat Scudo as I intend changing my van late next year for the new long wheelbase, high roof Fiat Scudo with a 1200kg payload so I would be transfering it over to the other vehicle when I get it. Your thoughts would be appreciated. :)

Glyn.

I thought you were referring to Purefreedom (Adepta Engineering Ltd)  I now think that you are referring to WCS who I know nothing about other that what I see on their site and I bet any decent supplier would be happy to meet or beat their price for what they are offering so I see where you are coming from now.

I was at Purefreedom yesterday and mentioned this thread to Andrew McCann who just replied that Omnipole are a well established and very reputable company and that although he doesn't know you personally has a lot of admiration for you and your business.

OMG its 2 nil already!!!   :o  :o  :o

IMHO this type of thread accomplishes very little for anyone's reputation.

I will come to meet you at your stand at Windex in March Glyn. Errr it's right next to Purefreedom's  lol  :)
