I'll be looking to get a vivaro next year and up it to a 650l tank, Just noticed that the new ones have 1.5l engines.
I think these doblos etc leave you short on space but if it's only windows you do then should be ok unless you've got a short wheel base then pole space could be awkward.

The new berlingo driver are very nice. 950 payload. 1.5 Diesel engine with a very impressive spec. I’m looking at the 130bhp model.

Transit Custom Sport auto, having the auto box makes driving around the town so much easier, especially with all those speed bumps.

I have a 650 litre tank in my 2015  vivaro, had the van for 2.5 years bought with 32 k on clock it's just done over 50k now all I've replaced is 2 front tyres, very happy with the van looks and drives great, I will be keeping it for a good few years.

Most if not all vans will have a horror story attached, don't worry about the make pick one that suits your needs. length, payload and price.

I have just bought another Fiat Doblo Maxi, 5 years warranty, 5 years servicing, 5 years breakdown cover, they are ideal for my company

the best van is the one that best suits your needs, and new is always better than old

best van doesnt exist really

I have a lwb dispatch 2.0

pulls well, been very reliable and loads of payload at 1200kg

i dont know how you guys manage with a 500 tank, i have a 650 and probably use 500 on average but ive ran out a couple of times. with 500 it would be touch and go most days.

It is the same van as the new vauxhall combo and pug partner. Worth especially checking out the Vauxhall as you might get one cheaper.

What I will say is Keep away from Citroen dispatch. Peugeot expert .scoudo Toyota pro ace. The reson is the are a van robbers dream van as I found out at my cost. not once  but twice in different locations what they do is target eighther side door place a bar or what ever and put slight presure on door at rear wheel hight and it releases central locking  in seconds keep a look out see how many  you will see.with marks on

Slightly off topis but I can't help but wonder what the long term future is for the Vivaro/ Trafic partnership with PSA (Peugeot/Citroen) buying the European leg of GM (Vauxhall and Opel.)

PSA and Renault complete for the same market. I don't know how the very top management of both companies react with each other, but they do give the vibe of fierce competition further down the ladder.

So will we see a Vivaro take on the Dispatch/Expert badge and the Renault and Nissan go it alone. How will Toyota fair on the back of all this. Interesting times.

Yes 5 year warranty, I have ordered a technico spec with lots of extra options and the most powerful engine, not cheap but worth it imo as for 5 years I have total piece of mind, when it arrives I will have 5 Doblo vans which will be ten in the next few years

I only work 6 hours a day.

I probably could save a bit of water, i do splash it around a bit and dont always bother shutting the univalve off between windows.

That and i dont use a controller, just run pump flat out.

500 is probably abut the right amount but id rather have 650 in case than be scrimping everyday.
