supreme brush opinions
« on: April 01, 2015, 02:08:07 pm »
I know many of us will be unwrapping our new toys after work today so we may as well get a thread going on our opinions of these new brushes. :D
Iv decided not to buy the bundle and just gone for the medium mixed hybrid, couldn't justify buying in bulk a product that iv never even used before.
Would like to hear what the other brushes are like though and I know there are those that waiting for reviews before buying.

I received mine today

MM hybrid
MM
Soft hybrid.

The soft feels lovely on the glass and the MM hybrid feels like it has a lot of bite to it. Very impressed and very similar to the aerial brush which I love, to I have very high hopes for this new range.

Well done Alex 😃

Do they have the same bristle density as the standard sl brush?

I would guess the Supreme medium hybrid to be popular.

I got my SUPREME MEDIUM HYBRID BRUSH today great brush but i think for every day work the soft hybrd will be better.

Im not sure about using the medium bristle brush on leaded glass though  :-\ I can see it being a issue with old lead thats starting to come off due to the bristle splay.

Damn, I wanted the brush in the picture on gardiners website which I now realise is the soft!
Cleaned my own windows with medium hybrid, has a nice feel to it and you don't need to apply much pressure.
I just get the feeling the brush will lose its shape very quickly but I guess only time will tell.

Which ones got the natural bristle in it?

One of the black and one of the White. Natural bristles have a slight brown tinge to them in the flesh and is quite hard to see the difference between the natural and normal bristles.

do they feel much heavier than the extremes, i know the superlites feel like a brick when all youve used is extreme but with these being in between and they look quite bristly i might try some!

Lighter than a sill brush, and not much heavier than extreme. GOOD balance, but there is a good bit of weigh difference.

The hybrid, new bristle type hair thingy is weird. Its in the middle (dual trim part) It feels quite weird tbh. It does very very very abrasive though!

They are a good bit heavier than the Xtreme, but noticeably lighter than the Super-Lites. It has tempted several of our testers permanently away from their previous Xtreme brushes despite being heavier.
