Just looked on Gardeners website and unless you've previously bought a pole from them you aren't allowed to buy a clamp upgrade kit.Is this allowed under trading standards?

Anyone have any issues with the new clamps being very sloppy when placed on the cleaned poles.I'm thinking there may not be enough adhesive. Also when ordering check you have got the correct clamps before you strip the old ones even if it says so on the paperwork. No work tomorrow

No work tomorrow The clamps should be a good tight fit on each section - if they are really loose it is probably the clamp from the next section up.The DIY clamp upgrade kits start from the No.2 clamp as the No.1 clamp does not need replacing as this only clamps the gooseneck. The No.2 clamp will then fit on the second section and so on.Which pole do you have and what clamp numbers have you got?
Alex, I thought that glue was supplied with the upgrade kits?
