Hi Paul,

thank you for your post. To be honest i don't care about other customers if they like it or not.how can you like it when your pole hose looks like a big spaghetti? so you don't care about the 5-10% who really don't like it? thank god Alex Gardiner care about his customers, not like you!

We do care, that's why we try to understand why you or anyone else is has an issue with the hose.  It's by listening and learning that we can then produce even better products.

The other customers' hose doesn't look like a big spaghetti when they use it.  Trying to work out why it's different for the small number who have the issue is the tricky part.

Our red hose was produced after listening to the feedback on the orange, and the yellow is another alternative.

If we can produce a hose that everyone likes, that of course would be great.

Paul
send me a red or a yellow one if they are better then  ;)

if you complain like i did to Paul from aqua dapter, his answer is: some customers like it so i can't do anything!
Please don't buy anything from aqua dapter, vey bad pole hose and very bad customer service! >:( >:( >:(

Either you two are the same person or you should get a room as you are made for each other.

Some harsh posts there but it's a chance you take as a supplier using the same forum as your customers. I don't feel Aquadapter have done anything wrong but I can understand the frustration of using something that doesn't work the way you expect. What is the purpose of the yellow hose? What problems does it address? I so wanted the aquadapter hose to work for me because it has the anti stretch properties, toughness and push fit problems sorted.

I have tried several hoses and haven't found a perfect one yet that works in all temperatures. Surecleans hose is the closest I've come to solving it.

Although after less than a year I am now frustrated with my CLX (although I do nothing to maintain it), the pole hose it came with is excellent. I have a cold system and I use a tap, but it has never kinked or twisted into spaghetti.

Bit of attack at aquadapter i found it a pain at first but have learned to manage it better although at times it can be a pain in cold weather .

Gardiners pole hose is very good used it over the past 2 days and i think Alex has got the right balance with the PVC and Rubber mix which works with push fit connectors very well without barb i have found .

Also it is fairly flexible even in cold weather and i think it will be quite durable and robust top hose IMHO . Mike

Hi Ben,

Sorry to read your comments, as Customer Service is very important to us.

You emailed me because you couldn't get on with the hose, and you wondered if it was from a faulty batch.

I replied to explain that the hose you were supplied with was from the same batch as that which others on here had "highly recommended".  I also mentioned how others have started off disliking the hose but eventually found that by changing their hose management technique slightly they like it.  Unfortunately it seems this hasn't been the case for you.

Of course I wish that everyone liked our hose.  Most do, some hate it.  On this thread I've counted 6 who like it 3 who don't.  Outside the forums I've found it's 5-10% who really don't like it.  As other manufacturers have also found, it seems almost impossible to produce a hose that everyone likes, but we all keep trying, which is why we now have the yellow Mike referred to!

Most customers are using the hose with an Aqua-dapter.  We only sell it separately as demand has grown for it.  We have some who like the orange and dislike the red, and vice versa.  There are customers who are using it on 45ft poles, so the length doesn't seem to be the issue.

windiewasher, did you contact us about a problem with taps?  If we don't hear about issues we don't have chance to respond to them.

It's got nothing to do with customer service, you asked if there was a faulty batch if hose, Paul said no. The problem lies with you, you don't not get in with the hose it's not to your taste, you do not like it.

If you had been using a gardener pole then changed to a Phoenix pole and didn't get in with the clamps and you didn't like them, is there a problem with the pole? No it's personal preference.

This is an unfair attack on aquadapter, their customer service is up there with Gardiners. It's not their fault you cannot coil up a hose properly.

Why should you coil a hose up.

No, you are not allowed to be abusive because you don't like it. There is a difference between being critical and being a numpty head. Repeatedly though you show which you are.  ;)

Did you deal with Paul? with Alex if you are not happy with one of his products, he always ask to send a pic and look at it if it is not faulty. With Paul, he doesn't do anything, except to say: 5-10% who really don't like the pole hose, though luck!
