better than all ive worked with, and you can easily have your hose on the outside of the pole, with these clamps, which save the mud etc going inside. The clamps are superb.

WOW................................... that really is revolutionary.  :-X

I've never heard of it.

Is it Unger perchance?  :D

I thought Gary might've been something to do with Unger, so I'm just guessing.

The length and weights are not great the gardiners clx is lighter.

I only ever usually use a pole on the outside of buildings; sometimes internal with a wagtail.

If you mean 'pole hose', yeh, I've always pretty much used an external pole hose.  It's the easiest and quickest way to work with far more positives than negatives.  It may take a little bit of getting used to though, but it's well worth it.

I HAD TO WORK THIS WAY ONCE, WHEN I PULLED MY HOSE THROUGH THE POLE AND COULD NOT RETHREAD IT....I HATED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! ITS BAD ENOUGH HAVING TO DO IT USING THE SL2 VERY OCCASIONALLY.  EACH TO THEIR OWN BUT I RECKON YOU ARE A TINY MINORITY WITH THIS ONE.

Anything 'new' is awkward to begin with.  Do you remember what it was like trying to learn how to use a squeegy?  At first doing 'pull down strokes' is easier and you may have hated 'fanning', but as time goes on, and you get better, fanning is far superior to 'pull down strokes'.

I've used internal pole hose, I've used taps, I've used the Aquadapter; external pole hose is superior to all that.  It's cheap, simple (less to go wrong), quicker, doesn't get dirt up your internals (dirty internals isn't good).  There's nothing to hate!

Maybe you're cack-handed though?  And I think your forehead must've bumped the caps lock button as you were typing.

I just had a closer look at this unger pole, there is a main pole THE MASTER POLE they call it.
Its 22ft and other sections can be added. interestingly the master pole weighs 1.7k the same as a SLX30 and I wouldnt mind betting the SLX would be cheaper too.
