Hi Darran,

I think the Aqua-dapter will work just as well with this adapter attached.

We have intentionally kept it as short as possible while still allowing a good length of the gooseneck to be inserted into it.

When working with a gooseneck, we always recommend that extra care is taken, as there is additional leverage, and therefore stress on the parts, esp the joints, but we're confident that this will cope with the stresses and hopefully it will be very useful to users of these quick-release components.

Hi david,

Please return it to us and we'll replace it for you.

We will be adding advice on keeping the Screw Thread Adapter tight on the blog very soon.  PTFE tape doesn't work that well, as it's too soft. Ordinary electrical tape is better, or low-strength threadlock.

Hi Panorama,

It goes between the top of pole and beginning of plastic angle adaptor.  The Aqua-dapter has to go directly on the pole as the hose goes up the pole and into the Aqua-dapter.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Yes it's 8mm OD, 5.5mm ID.  See http://www.aqua-dapter.co.uk/pages/Technical-info.html the pressure rating is higher than on that page now, product page is correct, I'll get it changed tomorrow.

Hi Alex,

You'll notice on the product page that it is on Pre-Order.  We are currently getting the first production run done, and have them on the website at the reduced price you've paid while they are prepared.

Yours will be one of the first shipped when we have received them into stock.
