guys guys guys, lets not forget to tell the man that he will be killed in a head on crash with any cheaper system and there really is a reason they are more expensive!

oh its a difficult one isnt it, im sure ionics do a cheaper range that is still crash tested.

personaly I would not have a system in a van me or my staff were driving that wasnt crash tested.

pure freedom are doing 1000liters fully kitted 2 man (no hot wash) with ro everything for £3k

also if you are new to window cleaning they are offering a training course for an extra small fee.

i hope we have been of help to you.!

how much do you think that 1tonne of water will weigh at even just 20mph? alot thats how much, these cages and bolts these companies are useing are a complete joke and will do nothing in a crash except snap.

Ionics can source a used van in as new condition, speedliner the floor, fit a system, sign write the van and make it into a single monthly payment, true their poles are crap, but they do do the best cages and tanks fact. I had a brand new trafic, and pro 5 650l 2 man setup for £360 a month over 5 years, payed off now and have never had any of the problems that i always read about on here, and the van has only done 38k on and 05 plate and still goes out every day.

Aren't the Ionics systems only tested at max 30 miles an hour anyway? if your traveling in an Ionics fitted van over this speed nothings guaranteed anyway is it?

Warren, ionics and brodex, both very over priced, they are all the same at the end of the day, some just wrapped in a posh casing!

I had a brodex system when I first started, big mistake, worst customer service I ever experienced, to a point we fell out and was refused to be served when I needed any spares etc!

I got rid of it and got an omnipole system, was 4 years ago, but then was £2300 fully fitted, and the way that is fitted, there is no way that's budging!

I would say have a look at freedom, I'm going to for my next van.

ionics crash tested a 1000l system at 30mph, now if im going faster than that i would still rather have that than one that isnt, also the tank goes down during the day and so does the danger.

there finace pakages are very good to, nice new van top of the range system and no problems, thats the way I like it.

At the moment I also have through them a renault master with 1000l 2 man set up, speedliner floor, great sign writting, the works. cost me £500 a month over 5 years wich is nothing to the 8k a month its turning over, and it can easily carry all the other kits, jet wash, gutter vac and so on, it really is the daddy of wfp vehicles and systems.

as with most things in life there is always something cheaper, but thats not always the way to do it, at the end of the day, its the tool you earn your living with, it can never be too good. I would rather have a new vehicle with a safe system, simple.

no actually I think ionic are crap for everything else, gardiner pole systems have the best poles and at great prices, we only use them now, clx range is good for the money, recomend going for the 18ft and 27ft.

I have my lad in my van, I know he's safe.

Before you make your mind up up tho, just look thro the sales pitch, and see if you can go look at some of the other lads systems.

Had mine over 4 years, my van was 2 yrs old, both never ever let me down, together cost me £7300. I paid cash, got no debts.

Money I saved went towards my M3! ;-)

Hi I'm looking to start up a window cleaning business. Had ionic's around today showing me their pro 6 system and have got brod x coming tomorrow to show me one of their systems.  Wondered what the general consensus of opinion was between ionic and brodex system. Also the guy from Ionic tells me that I only need to buy a 30 feet pole to start with. Should I pay a bit more and get the 40feet glider?

That will be a big debt to start with.

Over engineered to justify the price tag IMO.

Did you know that the Vauxhall vivaro // the Renault Traffic  the Nissan Primstar
and possibly other companies have the same chasis and susspention and stearing
oh what the heck there the same vans.

so why do they have to all be crash tested ?

possibly because they have different badges on them.

so my point is its ok to say my systems 100% safe in a vivaro because it was crash tested,
so its safe in a traffic and a primstar.

I would be told by the crash testing commpany sorry no because they are different vans
please pay an extra £600.000 please

why do you think Ford, Vauxhall, Nissan, Renault etc pay Millions of pounds on crash testing

beacuse although eg ford have differnt models of fiesta the all have to be crash tested.

forget the van crash test it the cadges that need to be tested after all if the cadge is not up to scratch what the point .

hope who reads this gets my point.

I think the crash test is for the system mate, not the van itself! ;D

When you need help and want the answer to window cleaning problems this forum is the place to be. You seemingly have managed to ignore and dismiss most of the  advice offered so far.
If you want to be really smart get a calculator and work out how many years earlier you can retire if you dont pay double or triple the cost neccesary for equipment and channel the savings into your own pocket.

I think your just on here stroking your ego
