Caine does have a point and when it comes down to it we only do it for the money and spend time maintaning windows for years for a new comer to under cut and then realize they cant earn money and you get the senerio of my last window cleaner charged a fiver and you know the job is worth a tenner. When i started out on my own I was careful not to take other guys work and I have even traded work with existing guys,we all would like good compact work and there is no point doing one house in a street when the other guy has 20 and your wondering whether next time its going to blow up into a row.You can network with other local guys and one of their customers may have a contact in your area.So it is always good to keep on good terms with other W/C,But like they say you cant get on with everyone.
