i think you should do it yourself clee.your just starting out and i think you and your missus(if shes clued up with what to charge)should be knocking every weekend!

i dont think you can expect a good solid round without putting the work in yourself.meet your potential customers and put a face to your business and dont rely on others to build your business for you!YOU know what you want to charge!YOU know whether to take on the job!YOU dont pay anyone and keep the money from first cleans yourself.

personally i think your starting off on the wrong foot.i went canvassing every weekend for 6 months when i started 16 years ago as well as working for another windy and playing drums in 2 gigging bands!! .

i dont go looking for work unless its a new custy in a new area i dont clean in then i do canvass the ones next to it.

since ive got wfp im getting more and more add ons from my regular custies.i have 340 custies at present.one man band.im enjoying it most days though!!

like i say m8 i work 4 nights a week,saturday i clean windows all day.
its the school holidays so my wife has my 5 year old daughter
sundays i spend with my daughter
we have no family around us to look after my daughter.
i will pay someone and if there good they can keep going!
id love to have the time to knock doors but truth of the matter is i don't!
Leights i pay tax n national insurance aswell as liability insurances!
i have had a few apply for the jobs i have going so hopefully jobs will fly in!

So you want a canvasser to go out and knock, find you good priced work , say a small semi at £15 done 4 weekly ie £180 a year. And you will pay £7.50 after youve cleaned it, then another £3.75 a month later?? Who with half a brain would stand for that?

Someone who won't /can't climb a ladder or fork out for a wfp van system or just wants a bit of suit your self/hours work?Someone looking to earn an extra few quid for their hols, etc etc

Someone who doesnt give a monkeys then basically, if they arent hungry then your wasting your time 9 times out of ten. Sounds like someone who may work just when they feel like it, and when theyve knocked for an hour and got nothing go home. You want canvassers who want to earn money, they will keep knocking when everyone else has gone home. And more importantly , they will make you some money.

2 i have family things to do
3 mondays and fridays have my daughter all day with my mrs at work during holiday time
4 i dont like knocking doors much
5 i would rather pay people to do it for me.
6 if i wasnt working nights i would be knocking doors everyday!But im not going to pack my job in until my claim comes through and will sell my shares and have some money behind me aswell as a much bigger round by then,about next march or may!!

if you can't work mondays and fridays how you gonna run a business, if you have the kids for the holidays what will you do if you are full time. you have family things to do, when running a business everything comes second until you are established, you only have a bad back back because you are playing the system for a claim, don't deny it you put a post up telling us all about it, you would rather pay someone to do something you can't do, I always went by the ethos of never ask another to do something I would not. work hard play hard mate

to be honest clee i think when u get ur claim and it could take years mine took 4 years to get sort, u will look at buying around rather that building one up,  as no disrespect you seem to have every reason not to go knocking

m8 i will get better have muscle and nerve damage.
if it doesnt i will pay someone to do my round and canvass to get 3 or 4 vans on the road,live on profits!
im worker not a quitter and if i had the time to knock i would be and i would get work in by the barrell load!
