Im a telesales freelancer, have been for 10 years

Its conversion rates and value of the product, I charge an hourly rate and do not do comm only jobs.

You cant call this kind of job on comm only the call volume is too high and the value is too low

It can be done if structured properly.

Paying a telesales person yes, but the product value is too low to make any money out of.

Because the person is going to have to know how to quote over the phone.

You HAVE to pay an hourly rate, the value is too low on a commission basis.

Its high volume calling and hitting lucky

A good deal seems to be 50% of the 1st clean and 20/25% of the second clean on completion. It eases it on your own pocket and gives an incentive for them to get repeat buisness.

Cleewindows, pay one good canvasser decent money, with two muppets you'll just double the ammount of aggravation. You want to grow, but you dont want to pay.  Maybe look for a more realistic method of growing customers.

So you want a canvasser to go out and knock, find you good priced work , say a small semi at £15 done 4 weekly ie £180 a year. And you will pay £7.50 after youve cleaned it, then another £3.75 a month later?? Who with half a brain would stand for that?

But good luck.

Mark

get your advert going for a canvasser m8.
where abouts in the country are you pal?
good luck m8,much better working for yourself isnt it.
i will be aiming at areas im getting a few in.im putting a advert in the paper this week too to try and get a few more custys as i did advertise a few months ago and picked a couple up,one of them was ok but 4 miles away, went there last week and got her 4 neighbours too as they have sacked there window cleaner so the £9 is now £45 which isnt bad and done in hour n a half.
