Tosh I don't reckon your a windy I suspect your a labour mp or work for local government
I am a socialist I guess, but I'm a Geordie, so that's to be expected.
But with regards Spain, there's lots of differences between Spanish healthcare and British. The Spanish eat a better diet and don't trough battered deep-fried Mars Bars on a daily basis. Also they have a different culture; you won't find many old age people's homes, since they're a family orientated society, they look after their elderly relatives themselves at home.
But with regards to your own views, they're generalistic and full of holes.
I have actually lived/served in some rough places which didn't have ANY formal police force worth bothering with (Bosnia and Kosovo) and seen poverty at it's worst; I could've bought a prostitute for the cost of two cigarettes in one place (I didn't; it seemed more like exploitation than purchasing sex). I also spent 8 months in Central America, and that was pretty rough too; there were many places I just wouldn't go - even in daylight - and being part of a big squad of lads, because of the drugs/poverty/crime/lack of real security.
So? So what if VAT goes upto 20%? We're still very lucky people. Now stop your whinging! The UK is still a great place to live.
