ive just sent out over 300 letters and will now beginning next week begin making telephone calls etc and collating more information ie decision makers names, email addresses if they have strong interest or currently have contracts in place

Some of our data actually turns out as duff data. Where we collated homes without xmas trees, its turns out they did have them but they where hidden in the loft. Its the accuracy of the data we are struggling with.

i answered,in my opinion,that a "sole trader is one step up from a job" and"one step down from a business"

window cleaning is a very simple business,yes we have hot water,gutter vacs,etc but in the main its about a service you carry out,you get paid,you earn an income,you pay your tax(debatable?) and for a lot of window cleaners thats as far as it will go,maybe they will have a part timer with them and thats when they it a ceiling and they have to make a choice,stay as they are or push through to the next level

Then we have a more business minded window cleaner,richy wilts,richard(i sparkle) lee pryors etc who will build a business,they will employ and grow accordingly,they spend ££££ on leaflets,websites,canvassers etc etc and words like S.W.O.T,SALES FUNNEL etc become their new tools much the same as going from CLX to SLX and thats exactly what it is a tool to be used to help you grow a bit like viagra

i await all criticisms (i think thats how you spell it)

excellent !            phone bashing  in other words from hopefully a quality quailified database ........... or some tosser could sell you a packaged process or even better (for them) sell you a training course for mega bucks

Hi Richard will try to make it clear, I understand im not to great at that right now

Quick example :

person A buys your service, you email to say thank you, explaining what they will expect etc and maybe you offer them straight away a discount that can be used on another services on the first clean (an upsell of sorts), 6 months later its summer you automaticly send an email out for a convservatory roof clean discount/or offer, again 6 months later email for gutter cleaning this can go on and on and get very complex or easy as you want

By automated you put them in the funnel at the top (which is the start) so they are in that sales process without you having to do anything apart from booking in the work if they want it. you could automate that aswell but I will stay on this topic.

Thats one for customer, this could be done for prospects too.

I am a little taken back by some of the replies but not overly shocked.
