Everything's a rip off in this game. WCW want 200 quid for a rack that's a few bits of box tube tacked together  :D

I'm like you I'd make my own.

I'd do a 3 and 4 pole option  if I was flogging them

We made this steel internal pole racking system as the ones on the market are too expensive for our needs.

They can be fitted to the roof or sides.

They can also be telescopic.

We would like to see what you think. If you could please spare a moment to take the poll, we would be very grateful.

Any suggestions welcome. Just send me a message.

Many thanks.

Didn’t Green pro do this. Lived in Thailand and ran his business remotely?
Not sure how he got on but to me he always came across as a bit of a w anker
I think Vin is the example, he seems to support his franchises and runs a very successful model. Although I would imagine he would tip his hat to Ian Lancaster.

Think he got stuck there during covid not sure what's happened to him now he's disappeared off the map.

I did a carpet cleaning job with him many years ago in Nottingham he's alright he paid me anyway

Well you are if your abroad - I’d be quite p!seed investing several grand and ongoing fees to only get the franchiser only accessible by phone or email

I'm not sure why it matters. It's only window cleaning it would be worrying if you had franchisees that couldn't be self sufficient and need their hand holding. What is it that would need you in person ?

What’s the point of the franchisor then?

I'm not saying you are  not there to support them, I'm saying you can do so from overseas you wouldn't have to be there in person. Whether you have someone managing it for you or whether you are available via phone and video it makes no real odds.

Been looking in to the franchise model. I’m pretty clear on most of it but could somebody clarify if you actually provide the client list for your franchisee?

We do but some don't.  There are even others out there who charge their franchisees for canvassing business for them.

Scrap copper is about £5 a kilo. Did his charging cables really weigh 12kg?

I think they are talking about the cable that comes out of the charging station. They use boltcutters and chop everyone of them. Its a nice earner if you have a full row of them at a carpark. I think in future they will change to the same idea as the air hose. Once you put in your debit card then it will allow you to pull it out. It costs a fortune to fix it when its been chopped.

Even better idea is to just have a socket. Punters can carry their own cable.
Just for info:
Some of the 'Big' chargers have liquid cooled cables to enable the conductors to be thinner and thus lighter. Having to carry your own cable capable of carrying 300Kw would be way too heavy for a fair few people.
The chargers that take a customers cable are normally only up to about 22Kw and are AC, the 'bigger' ones are DC chargers and, I believe are required to have their own tethered cables under the CSS spec.
