PR,       Don`t worry about what others earn. You still earn more than me  ::).
Have you thought about smaller barrels for your backpack? 25 litres is heavy for someone without a bad back. What about 10 litre ones and just topping up more often?

popped 2discs in the middle of my back & totally burst 2in my lower back :-X so i can only work about 4hours & trust me when i say thats a good day  :-\. some days i cant work.

Sounds painful!!!  :(  I read a book once, called 'Your Body's Many Cries For Water' It is about how important hydration is to the body, and how drinking enough water can cure many diseases in human beings. Before I read this book, I suffered from asthma and had to take steroid and reliever inhalers, and also tablets to control my symptoms. Within 3 days of following the advice in this book I was free of asthma and stopped taking the medication. I am telling you this bacause the book also talks about lower back pain, and the author has also written a book specifically on this subject called 'How to deal with back pain and rheumatoid joint pain' He talks a lot of sense, and as I said it worked for me, why not get yourself a copy. You've got nothing to lose and it may help!!  :)

These videos are funny. ;D

Takes a bit more than that to do a good job wfp!

Squeaky I've been using wfp for 5 years now, and the round just grows and grows. Believe me, I know what I'm doing, anyway that clip is a couple of years old now, I'm much quicker now!! Lets see a clip of you in action, so we can all see how its done Squealer!!   ::)
Oh Bushpig you haven't changed! If there was a clip of me you'd see it was not much slower, but I would rinse them properly.

Yes on some you trust it can be done that quick, and some of mine are, but not on all windows.

no wonder i get through so much water, I rinse way more than that, Might try and improve my technique. Had no complaints yet though!
same here Chopsie, finished one yesterday and the windows sparkled but all the custie seemed to notice was the water on her patio ::)

I have to admit that video from Groundhog does look very fast...I just wish I had the danglies to to them that fast..I think I would take much, much longer doing them and that house would take me about 20 minutes at least poss more.

I just do not have the confiendence to do them that fast...this is not an attack on the video.
groundhog has been doin it for.. i think he said 4/5 years ;D even if i'd been doin it 10years
i still wouldnt b that quick  :P

The whole point of the rinse is to pull any small bits of dirt down the pane of glass with the weight of the water. Doesn't matter what way you do it so long as you start from the top.

It's the scrubbing that is equally as important as that's when the dirt is loosened by the scrubbing motions of the brush. If you don't get the scrubbing right, the rinsing won't be right.

It sure can, I use a slightly different technique these days which is even quicker. Where I used to rinse down the window in a zigzag with the brush head, I now just slide the brush left to right a couple of times at the top of the pane and let the water flow down the window, works just as well and as I said is quicker!!  :)

Anyone running around like that in any business will portray a bad image in most peoples eyes.

I'm in business to make money, and the quicker I clean a window the more money I make, I'm fit and strong and able to work hard and run from window to window all day long!

Back in the 80's there was a labourer who called himself Superhod, he had a specially made hod which I beleive was capable of holding 3 or 4 times what a normal hod would carry, he also had a wheelbarrow made in the same way. He would run all day, and was able to keep a great number of brickies or plasterers going all on his own. He is now a multi millionaire, and I don't think he could care a less if some tw#t suggested he looked unproffessional for using his strength and fitness to earn him a lot of money to provide for himself and family!!!  ;D

i think groundhogs just trying to wind us all up for the fun of it!there just no way you can go round cleaning custys windows like u do in the vid!it really is laughable. ;D ;D

maybe if the custy wasnt in and you was bursting for a tom tit and wanted to get off to the nearest toilet!but if the custys in when you clean and you knocked on after 5 mins you would soon get the sack!

its another case of a arrogant braggart(just like the guys who say they can clean 15 houses an hour blah,blah....yawn!) or a wind up merchant! :P :P ;D ;D ;D
