Taski Ergodisk Floor machine £?
« on: March 20, 2010, 01:00:49 pm »
Hello folks.  I have a Taski Ergodisk floor machine that I do not use, or need.
Can anyone give me a rough idea as to what it is worth as I wish to put it on the mighty ebay.
It isn't new but has been well maintained.  I managed to buy it from a local school ( where I clean the windows) when they were selling off a couple of machines.  I use the one but not this one.
It needs a bit of a clean as it has been in my garage for about 6 months and as such it is a bit dusty.

It is a Taski Ergodisk 438.
Veni, vidi, vino, splatus.

By googling the info it looks like it is a 400rpm machine with 38cm (15")area.

400 is too fast for carpet buffing so I am not interested but that is ok for hard floor buffing.
If in good nick you should get over £150, maybe over £200 if someone really wants it.
New probably around £650 ish

may be a bit optimistic there a lot of cleaning firms have gone into receivership since x mas you can buy 2nd  hand scrubbers from dealers for £100 with a 3 month waranty and drive plate. They go for peanuts without waranty.

The last two on e-bay which were the same make but the slower 200s went for £235 and £155 which is the one I purchased. They were both the same sort of age and in excellent condition.

Thanks for the advice and info guys.

I think I'll pop it on ebay and see what it gets to.
Cheers
