« on: November 12, 2009, 09:03:41 pm »
I have found ,an operations manual  for a UK franchised carpet cleaning company, It contains , marketing, operational, cleaning, technical and other information , it is 8 years old , but still remains an interesting and informative read.

I will sell this to the highest bidder by next Friday Children in need night......20/11 ay 20.00 hrs ,, Payment must be sent to me in the form of a cheque made out to "bbcCHILDREN IN NEED"  I will then post it out to any UK address.

I will kick off at just 5 quid ,,,,,,,

I have been having a clear out today and found something to add to the manual...

It is a small extractor , complete with vac and solution hose,  what made it special is that the water recirculates right to the tool head (not included).  Afew years ago the circuit board that controls the water temp broke so I bypassed it , meaning that the water will boil if you let it!

The pump is currently broken, but it is a common FLOjet one.

The vac works , I cant believe I used this machine for water extraction for years , I have extracted large warehouses with it , lol, the waste tank holds just 3 amaerican gallons ,, good job we were on an hourly rate!!!

The link above is the machine , though mine is 16 years old this week!

It cost  £4600 plus VAT new,,, yes £4600 plus VAT!!!

That is franchise costs for you!

I reckon I have cleaned over 300k worth of work with this machine,,, upholstery , curtains and stairs .

Parts are still easily available from the  manufacturer.

I will put up actual photos on monday or tuesday next week.

I will post it out to any mainland UK address to the highest bidder by next friday.

Just to be clear ,, it is now  a manual AND this machine which is on offer ,,, Cheque to children in need.
