A merlin reverse osmosis system. have a look on pure freedom imjust selling the merlin. the greater the water pressure the more efficent the ro produces and its main fed.

just had a look and this looks ideal as i have no real space for a tank at the moment,so you literally just plug it onto outside tap, fill backpack/containers up and your up and running?where abouts are you and would you be willing to post it?

tap water tds is about 250 then through merlin tds 0.25 then through resin 000. It take time to produce pure water.

Have a look through the window cleaning forum mate or do some search's. i am just getting into wfp, ad too start off with it seem like there is loads of stuff to learn.

I was going to go with a backpack to start, vut after looking have gone van mount.

Your best bet is either finding someone to supply you with pure water if you only want to use a trolly, or priducing it yourself.

if you go for the second, the best way to produce your water will depend on how hard it is.

If you look aon the forum and ask ?s on there you will definately get the help you need! Just search as much as possible first.

Excuse my spelling etc, I hate my keyboard and cant ever seem to work it properly...

thanks Krave.i am trying to search the forums, its hard going!!can't even find what ro/ri means what it involves or how long process takes.one thing i have seen is that you seem to waste an aweful lot of water in the purification process, seems crazy to me,trad use a couple of buckets a day,wfp use hundreds of litres, the cost of production must be massive, especially on a metre,i would of thought being a business you would legally have to have a meter fitted.i am not knocking wfp as i am interested in it,but the waste just seems crazy

Go for it Tam K,i think i am going to go down the trad route for now.It all seems a bit much all the water purification when i am just starting out and just wanting it for a few difficult windows, that is unless i can find someone to get a few litres off locally to feed a backpack when neccessary
