now cleaned them 3 times and still seeing drip/spots on them. Also in certain light some othe rmarks. i have scrubbed and rinsed loads on them but still some marks.


look great when just finished but once dry marks on them etc

Just done my kitchen windows - really good scrub and rinse, been cleaning them wfp for two and a half years and i've just seen a small run of spots. Drives me nuts but nobody else in the house will notice. Anyone who claims to do a perfect job (and there are loads on here) are having a laugh.
Try and do a first clean in one pass - it just can't be done unless your standards are pretty low.

i rush around my house cleaning the windows (stupidly fast) and i promise every window is spotless but up until about 3 cleans ago there was always 1 (landing) window that had spots when dry, got really annoying but sorted it out now by rinsing right from the top over the cross bar right  too the bottom now all are perfect everytime.

My guess is that most Trad cleans have imperfect results too. I've watched several trad cleaners wipe down the edges (detailing) very fast with a scrim flapping a couple of inches on to the pane - it has to leave a slight smear.

I would challenge any wfp cleaner to leave a perfect house. I've seen others work and I can always find a run of spots somewhere.

I do 2 houses (thankfully relatives) that always spot and I've been doing them 2 1/2 years
Even my own windows occasionally end up with the odd spot, but it's only visible when the sun shines through it, or maybe I'm just crap
As has been said I don't think 99% of customers are bothered about imperfect results and just keep paying up month after month.

You can make far more of a mess with a squeeggee than you can with the pole,as long as you know what your doing with the pole you should always do a better than average job.

i think its balloks about them staying cleaner for longer too, always clean my own wfp and they are dirty in about two weeks last time i done the bottem only trad and they are still clean four weeks later,

about 80% of windows i clean do stay cleaner longer.

there is no doubt that the windows definately stay cleaer longer, not all windows but the vast majority do..

i did a school yesturday.... its only done 4 times a year, and i can honestly say the windows are still quite clean .....the first clean took nearlt 2 hours.... but yesturday i did it in less than an hour ....

if i had to do it trad, the windows would be a lot dirtier, and it would take about 3 hrs .... (and i was trad for 12 years before i switched to wfp)....there is  just no comparison

I have to agree with others here...I would challange anyone to say hand on heart ( and it be true of course) that they can clean houses day in day out and they are perfect...

Maybe if you had all the time in the world and you would be prepared to wait until they all dryed then could examine them both inside and out...and rectify any little issues.

A good job is all that we can provide but perfection...sorry...no chance.

There seems to be alot more 'tall tales' this spring than last year...is there something in the water???

i think trad and wfp its hard to get absolutely perfect results, when using trad i often found that if you left a mark in the middle of the window with a squeegee and went to wipe off with the cleanest dryest scrim you would be hard pushed not to leave some kind of smeary mark and would often be easier to just soap up and do again, i think imo scrims do leave marks and because when you dont leave any marks you only use them for detailing the edges and theyre just not so noticable there.
ive had the odd custie complain about wfp now which is hilarious for some of them coz i know for them its a much better job coz i couldnt reach all parts of top lights etc when trad coz just too high or knew that leaded or georgian chances are there would be smears somewhere if you really looked.

tds from tap 28 then into di which comes out 0. In some light the window looks perfect but as sun moves you then see the marks.

The ultimate challenge for any window cleaner is to clean his car windows inside and out. I can never do it perfectly, always a mark or two somewhere.
