i just phoned a guy up who supplys hot washers and generators. he said its not as strraight forward as i think just saying the wet n dry will run off 240v generator. he said you need to get a generator with double the wattage to supply the vac, somewhere around 7kva he said. its to do with the current.  and here is me trying to buy a small gx160 generator.  it would have prob blew up trying to run my vacuum?  its getting complicated. will the vac affect the custys electric if i use theres.?

Make sure you plug into a proper supply point in the property ie wall socket, be aware of extensions to garages etc.

Omnipole sell generators or do a search on google.

i think im going to stick with custies electric to save money.  ftp said i would need a generator around 80 kilos in weight around 5kva or more.  also i would be using to juice to run it.  why pay more just use custies.

Ftp is right, if you can get away without a gennie its a bonus. A petrol driven vac would be best but  a good one has not been developed yet. Its early days for gutter vac development but I am sure equipment will get better. One bid of advise do not under estimate the time to do a job, time to set up, clean and clear away at least an hour on small job. We have min charge of £80 - £ 120 two/three bedroom semi. £120 - £180 4/5 bed. Commerical watch out for the box gutters can be diffcult to clear out shrubs etc.

i suppose industrial estates and commercial premises with not too high gutters will all need doing hey? i will have to get my leaflets done asap.   i think here in the north west my minimum charge will be £50 for work as the prices are not as high as down your way.   i would rather just suck all the gutters than pressure wash all the fascia etc unless im short of work.
