I know this is thread drift but I want to say smething about insurance that may be relevant to some on here.
Some years ago, when I first switched from car to van for work, my insurer insisted on me taking out a commercial policy. I went fully comp as usual. Also, as usual, I drove my then girlfriend's car occasionally too. I was not a named driver but my fully comp policy had always covered me to drive her car (third party only but it was an old crate anyway).
WRONG !!! Fortunately, I found out the easy way. Although my previous fully comp car policy covered me third party for hers, my COMMERCIAL policy didn't. This seems to be the norm. I drove a return journey from Gatwick to Yorkshire whilst uninsured. Would never have done it if I had known of course. So, if anyone is doing this, be warned.
