Few reasons.
I had a demo about 5 years ago of both the Tex and DF systems. Both similar principles though both have a patent so must be different.
I chose the Tex.
I used it a fair bit but got fed up with the wringing over a hot water tub. but did a good job.
Sold it, got the DF system.
Didnt really use it a great deal. To get the best from it you need to use the DF fluids and they are effective but expensive. Still had to do the wringing, but also did a good job.
I suppose with both I never got a good routine of managing the pads.
Solutions UK have just brought out some fluid that is SIMILAR to DF fluids, but at less cost.!
The Cimex, though heavier and definately more suitable for commercial only, is easier to manage in the pad area being encapsulation biased.
Also, I only have a few years left in me so want to be able to use as many different systems as I can while I can.
Not tried a Rug Doctor or Karcher yet though :
