Yeah all agreed before hand, but it seems to me that new customers in big houses seem to be more picky with parting with money than ones with a normal semi etc
Cleaned a large farm house yesterday, all windows frames, gutter fascias etc took around 2 and half hours. Before the customer paid me, she decided to walk round the whole house and inspect every single window before she would part with her cash!Thankfully she seemed pleased, but I did worry she might say, no i'm not paying that.Anybody else have custy's like this!!

It takes me 6 hours to do and has loads of fussy windows to do. For someone that probably earn's well over a million a year £200 to him is like a tenner to me, TIGHT GIT.
If a new customer asks me to clean windows and wash/empty gutters and go to town on everything, alarm bells start ringing in my head that they after a make over just prior to selling their house, especially if everything is really dirty. I've known some customers resort to hiding the 'for sale' sign in their shed until after they've had the house cleaned Always ask customer if they want a 'one off' (i.e. end of tenancy clean, etc) or a regular clean and wait for their answer. If they reply they want a one off, I inform them that I'm sorry but i only take on work that's regular as stated on my website.

I've had customers who have said they want regular, once the 1st clean is done I've then had a call to say they dont want them done anymore! what can you do? not alot really!

I do, if they're bad I charge 150% and if they're minging I charge double, why not, it's your time they're paying for.
