Well his book arrived on Wednesday and I though I would have a "quick" look through it to see what it could teach me........
Now I don't read books very much...... well in fact not at all really.
Its not that I can't read but its more that I find it boring. Well I read the book from cover to cover to cover today and what an eye opener it was. Loads of good ideas for marketing campains and advertising. It doesn't do it for you but it gives you the right "ideas" to put in to practice. If it just contained templates then everyones flyers, etc, would all end up looking the same, although there are a few pictures in the book to give better examples.
The chapters are nice and short and straight to the point unlike some similar books that waffle on and on before getting to the nitty gritty of it. Plus as its written by a window cleaner for window cleaners its very easy to follow the line of thinking.
I'm going to put some time and effort in to a small advertising campaign in Jan-Feb to see how it goes and I'll let you all know how it works out.
The only down side to the book is that Kevin didn't use a good proof-reader to check his spelling and grammar before sending it to print but that is a very minor thing.
I'll be refering back to it time and again to get new ideas for upgrading my customers. I'm not after becoming a big company and all the headaches that come with it but I want my business to be as profitable as I can make it and as stress free, especially with the money issues at the moment. I'm sure this book will help me make it more enjoyable for my customers to part with their money....

In my opinion its well worth the £50. I know that sounds and is a lot for a book But if all you get out of it is 1 more £10 every 8 week house, that would pay for the book in under a year and then your in profit from it...... But some how I think it will have paid for itself at lot sooner than that......
