Hello everyone
A customer has used "Self Adhesive Fixing Tape" to stop a rug moving on their carpet. The tape is similar to Blu-Tac, but softer, blue/grey in colour, and is used to secure carpet gripper bars in doorways.
The carpet is a cream/beige synthetic twist pile, with synthetic backing.
On inspection the adhesive tape has stuck to the carpet fibres, and I am concerned that the dye in the adhesive may stain the carpet.
Has anyone come across this problem ? Any ideas as to how the adhesive tape can be removed, if at all ?
Any input would be appreciated.
Many thanks
