Obviously no one has just employed there own canvasser then? Thats all i wanted to know, its gonna bring in work to quick for me the roundbuilers etc, and be to costly for what i want, i just want a slow trickle of work coming in so i can build gradually, dont want a new round over night, so obviously not going to be worth it to me to bring in roundbuilders etc....
Obviously no one has done this though?

I have done it before but it was more hassle than its worth. i pay someone else to do it and the hassle is taken away from me. i also found it difficult holding onto staff to door knock

For the business canvassing its charged per hour and per appointment that they get for you.

what is the rate they charge per hour then? how much do they charge for an appointment?
