The forecast for the next couple of weeks is horrendous !!!  Please look away now if you are of a nervous disposition !   It is going to hammer it down !!!  There is going to be 3 years worth of water falling on all our heads !!!  ;D   Have a nice day  ;D

This weather will give a reality check to those that follow the braggers on earnings. Weather, equipment, repairs, insurances, etc, etc, all take their toll. You have to be determined and resillient to make this business work.

Both of us worked all day untill 2:00pm, doing a huge green house. It even found its way through waterproofs.

Friday have to do inside of the house, that I did the green house for and that will be an all day job.

Its all worked well this time, as your normally having to do the inside and its sunny out.

Ha ha yeah I know, but it was tipping down..... up until today we have carried on ( unless its torrential ), but I think its started to effect our mood/attitude...... constant rain & no sunshine has that effect eventually I suppose.....  :-\

Showers and sunshine in Kent :)

Did a full day's work and still home by 2.30.  Had one complaint, and it wasn't even raining at the time >:(.  Asked the bloke how he expected me to keep regular if I could only clean in ideal weather, he said "I don't care about you".  Next time he rings and wants to know why I haven't been I'll tell him:  "I don't care about you either" ;D

I welcome the rain - it's only a couple of years ago we were all worrying that the water companies would shut us down because of the water shortages.  All the time it keeps raining it keeps them off our collective back.

ive had enough too, so decided today i have to carry on no matter what

my work just isnt going to get done without it. i was working in rain today and its not all that bad and no one said anything.

going to make a letter to all my customers reading something along the lines of

"due to constant bad weather i am forced to continue working throughout the rain. i fthere are any problems after they have been cleaned in the rain contact me within 24 hours and i will re clean affected windows"

I worked around the weather yesturday and had a really good day, but today the rain was constant at times, so my Missis made me do DIY jobs round the house, and since tomorrow is meant to be a 'write off' weather-wise, it looks like I've another day of sand-papering skirting-boards and stuff.

However, it's periods like this which make you put your prices up and take on new work at far better prices than your old work.
