You can attend a Prochem training course without buying a machine, however if you buy a machine you get a training voucher free.
Pristine, what is your name and location you may get a better response.

My real name is Dave, Nick name Dapper. Location Marden - in kent nr Staplehurst.
You mentioned a certificate as being no good !!!!!!!!!!!!Don't understand what you mean by that.
I joined the IICRC about 10-12 years ago, but allowed my membership to lapse.
The certificate I mentioned was of ASHBYS. It said it gave an attendance certificate. Did not know if it was actually any good? You know like a recognisd qualification as such.
Like I said before I am really a cleaning contractor, It just that recently I have had lots of enquiries about CC and I pass them onto some one we know. And he is getting the work. So I thought instead of passing it over, why not offer the service myself so I can reep the rewards instead.
So obvioulsy as I am no expert in the field of CC what better place to ask here in the forum.
I use to do it before a few years ago now and that was with a portable and the custys back then were happy. But thats when I worked for someone else.
I have looked at TMs and portables and to be honest portable is probably the way I will go. CC wont be my main area more like an add on service. Unless it took over of course.
I have seen a portable at ahsbys that offer nearly the same power as a TM and I know you cants always get every where with a TM like you can with a portable.
And yes I will need to go on a course, Ashbys is probably where I will go. That due to lazyness as I hate traveling. They are nr to me.
I have done basic CC ON BICSc courses
I know I have alot to learn in CC the main worry would be cleaning a carpet and the colours runs etc ..... that seems worrying to me ...as long as I can get past that I think I will be alright.
