Hi there.

It is just for the kit. I purchased it all last month with the intention of adding it on to my carpet cleaning business but have decided to buy a truckmount machine and concentrate on that instead.

I suppose I could start to advertise the service but my Transporter van will have a truckmount and hose reel in so will not have any space for anything else especially a pressure washer, whirl-a-way and 240 litre bin!!

I suppose I should have thought about it a bit more  :( :( :( :(

you are making a mistake selling it. I do  P/W and it is very profitable, I do a grand every weekend with P/W and don't usually work past 2pm

its a perfect add on to carpet cleaning,  if you could make room on the van the I'd think twice before selling it.

Thanks for the advice....Johnny Kelly told me your doing well with it also!

At the end of the day I may go in to it in a year or two if I feel the need but at the moment Im happy with the carpet side of things.

John,

Is this the one I saw at John K's the other week?

If it is I can't understand why your selling it.  There's a massive market out there for pressure washing, we have done about £3K's worth of work last month alone and one of the jobs was massively underpriced by about £500! (not by me)

One man can do £400-£500 worth of work in a day, especially with a big rotary disc cleaner, ours is only a 12" version and it still eats up the block paving.

You'd be far better off keeping it and seeing how it goes.  Even if you buy a Prowler, its a 3 minute job to get it out of the van and get the pressure washer kit in, we have never bothered with a buffer tank, the mains water supply has always been enough pressure (ours is the Honda GX390, 4000psi, 13lpm version)

If you do end up selling it and then get asked about pressure washing work, which will happen the day after its gone :'(  give me a call and I'll send someone down to Cram and give you a cut ;)

For Mike Halliday - what do you do to get the work to be able to do that amount of business on a weekend? Is it with leaflets?
