Id have contributed earlier to this thread except after buying a new PC a couple of weeks ago and installing my old ISP settings onto it after 2 weeks it suddenly seemed it wasnt such a good idea, so Ive been without internet connection for a week.
However, I would just like to report my opinion and findings regarding Peters auto-brush.
Firstly, Peter, thanks for the refund cheque for the over payment.
Anyway, my experience so far of WFP has been limited to 4 months with a Vikan Square brush. Lots of people on here say for them its their workhorse brush, does a fair job, tough and generally delivers the goods.
The brush with Peters setup was a Salmon. Interesting colour, bright blue!
The brush at first seemed rather soft, possibly I thought not up to much, a bit too much of a pansy at first I thought. But I LOVED the auto part of the setup. It didnt take long for that to become something that I loved being able to use nad felt almost from the owrd go that it was an indispensible part of the whole window-cleaning experience. Id say once I was into my second day with that feature things were beginning to look up.
But the brush just didnt seem to be something I was comfortable with.
Then... !
I did a clean that I thought might need the Vikan to be brought out of retirement, so on she went and by God it was like trying to drive a car without power-steering after driving a top of the range BMW.
I love that blue Salmon now, so easy to use. In love with it. The brush and the auto feature. How ever did I get on without it all before?
So far Ive also found the build to be pretty good, dont know how itll fair in my clumsy heavy handed way, but satisfactory anyway Id say.
Thanks.
Matt
