He's sending me one and the reason I want it is so that I can stay out longer cleaning windows before the water runs out.

I am finding that all the small improvements I make to my work add up. When I went hot (i was the first to DIY on this site to my knowledge) I thought all i've got to lose is £300 if it doesn't work. But it did work.

The electric reel was an £80 gamble for the drill, but that paid off too.

Peter's brush, if you tried to do it yourself, would cost a fortune in both time, parts, and sourcing. At £69 it has to be a bargain.

ive got one of peter auto brushes and they are great. it does save a fair bit of time and water. ive just bought a second reel and hose and got a vikin on an xtel, with a flow control valve.
and its a right pain so i will be getting anther1  :)

i would recomed it to anyone.
its on and off at an instant, much better than a flow control valve  ;)

Why is it better than a flow control valve??  Are they in the van so you need to keep going back there??

no its just like a on off valve at the end of your hose to turn th  water on and off as when required

the auto brush turns the water on and off at the brush end  :)

Hi mate,

I've been using one for the last 2 1/2 years and personally think it's a great brush,
gets most stubborn marks IE birds muck of with ease and having the switch on the brush head i find very easy to use, yes it does take a little time to get used to especially windows with deep recesses but  you'll soon get use to it.

Another thing is you do get good backup service with peter and that i think is very important.

If you want more water get a bigger tank,if you added up how much it would save you over the course of the day it would be minimal, when my waters on i`m cleaning window`s.I`m not saying it`s not a good invension but when it comes to water saving i would say it`s not that much unless your very wastefull when using normal jets,it would be a much better brush if the fans were fitted on top of the brush itself. This brush comes with lots of bristles missing from it which is a shame.

I wouldn`t say you needed 4 jets with Peters fan jets they would benefit more from being in a different place ie right at the top of the brush,i have used 1 breifly and there were to many bristles missing which is needed in order for it to fan with it jetted in the middle of the brush like they are.

I think it was jikwan that had an idea of using a plate to bounce/reflect  the spray fan  jets of in a downward direction.

On that brush if i was going to remove bristles it would be in the top row only, brushes that are fanned in the middle are useless unless loads of bristles are removed.

I did use one for a year and stopped about a year ago and it was good.

But ...

I only got it because it was Peter's suggested solution to the remote control on my trolley system being temperamental in operation.

I don't know if Peter has changed the switch, but mine would jam "off" from time to time which was irritating. It would then need disassembling and freeing up or replacing (which Peter would do without charge)

Also it would sometimes catch against window surrounds and switch on or off inadvertently. And the extra thickness with it mounted on the brush meant it couldn't always slide behind door handles without catching.

I changed to a tap on my belt and think that overall that is better.
It's a game of three halves!
