I've got a tap at the moment, and already use fans and rinse on, In theory it should be great for me, The only anti point i've seen so far is not sliding between guard railings.

Unless you try these things you nevder know.

just use a trigger. cheaper to buy, quicker and easier to use and a lot less weight on the wrong end of your pole

it would be a much better brush if the fans were fitted on top of the brush itself. This brush comes with lots of bristles missing from it which is a shame.

I wouldn't fit fan jets on top of the brush, I have tried it in the past, but it brings dirt down from above.  The one you seen might have been the 15" one, I also do two other sizes with much more bristles.

I don't know if Peter has changed the switch, but mine would jam "off" from time to time which was irritating. It would then need disassembling and freeing up or replacing (which Peter would do without charge)

Yes Malc that problem is fixed, I have to replace very little valves now.  Your would have been a plastic toggle, now they are metal.

A trigger is OK when you use different sizes of pole for all the different heights you work at, but if you use a pole where you add and take away sections then they are no good.  And what about all the hose in front of the pole when you use the pole not fully extended?

The weight at the end of the pole is negligible, the Autobush is lighter than most other brushes on the market anyway.

Yes maybe the brush is a bit more expensive depending on how much you spend on triggers, but all the parts can be transferred from an old brush when it is done, to a new one.

very true peter but what it the window your cleaning has no reveals, and to turn the brush on and off you have to keep turning the brush though 90 degrees to the frame. Also yes you are right that it is easier to change a brush rather than a trigger, but good triggers are as cheap as £28.00 so for the price of one brush I can have nearly three triggers. Dont get me wrong I actually think the autobrush is a good idea- as good as using triggers and yes I did have a second hand one, just didnt get on with it, I found triggers quicker, easier and saves more water. This is my own opinion using it on my round. If someone elses round is different with a different style window it might be the other way round

That 15" brush is only workable on large panes of glass,it`s not a brush you could use on every house-job as it wouldn`t be practical.

I have just looked on Wintex
Their triggers...
Am I right in thinking you have to hold the trigger in ALL the time?  :P

If so the Brush looks better... once again!  :-\

Steve, the type of window you described is usually more associated with an office block with small partitions between panes.  On these windows you are more or less pumping water all the time, so the brush dosn't need turned on and off very often, so you would just keep it running.

My customers can buy the accessories to turn an ordinary brush into an Autobrush for less than the price of your trigger.

If you still have it and don't use it steve, I'll swap it for a trigger I have and don't use.

What sort of pole are you going to be using it on?

Thanks for the order.
