£3 a metre?

Or if one day's work for one man, say £250?
It's a game of three halves!

£350 too much for just the insides of the gutters then? Thats what I was aiming at but if it's taking the Michael I won't risk it.

do you need the job?

if not why worry too much about the price, £350 for the insides sounds great, are you doing it by hand?

Just updated the pics to make them bigger.
No I will use a gutter clearing machine but will need to use a ladder to get on that low roof for the shirt section above it.

Which Gutter Vac are you using Mr T?

You said it was your first commercial have you done domestics with the vac?

What would be your rate for domestics and has it paid off buying a vac. Only asking has I've been looking into it but cant really think how domestics would pay off. As for commercial I would think is ideal for the vac.

Cant help much with price but like Alex says not a lot of people around who can take on this work and commercial have a bigger budget than domestic.

I've got one this one:

I usually charge minimum of £55 for a 3 bed semi, rising thru £80 ish for a four bed etc.

Takes a long time to get money back, but then I don't advertise widely.  Too busy doing w/c.

Thanks Mr T

It would be the same for me really 98% WC and the odd gutter clean. Done a few but use ladders with stand off etc, and price around the same £15 - £25 per side depending on access. On average I takes around 45 mins for a semi would it be quicker with vac or is it the safety aspect that made you decide on one.

BTW what Vac is that it doesn't look like any I've seen or did you build it up yourself.

(Sorry for being nosey like I said been pondering over one of these for the past few months)

Thanks Wayne

Haven't had to so far, but it might be a problem, yes.

I usually just scrape along with the end bit and has done the trick so far, but some sort of spike like Omnpole's might be the job
