Did an other wool barber cream with pure clean, and extracted with pure clean and yet again really bad results.
Changed to prespray gold, and got the marks out straight away again.
Not looking good for pure clean, think I will stick with whats working.....

Mixing as per instructions sometimes just let it dwell no agitation.

Leave it with John and my pads too ;)

I have cleaned everything from a 12 month old CLEAN velvet pile carpet to a trashed nightclub & pub with Prochem Pure Clean.  The only thing that i struggled to clean to the highest standard was a Wool Berber?  Dont know why this is.  As i have said,  everything else i got very high standard (even the trashed carpets in a pub/club) ???

Just because you had a problem on a Wool Berber dont dismiss it.  Im sure you will find it to be a VERY useful chemical to keep on the van on a day to day basis (wool berbers excluded).

It’s v/good; my temp helper thought it had the wow factor (me on par with um/blitz dumped the sermon on ms a couple of years ago still good) cant comment on M or N never tried it!

I only agitate (humble Sebo) if need be, other wise dwell time (fAg/coffee break).

Hope you lads are busy with Passover now there some challenges for you! (If I remember will take the camera tomorrow forgot it today)

Hi Phil,
Check your sprayer isnt blocked. you might think you`re spraying down pure clean on the carpet but there might not actually be anything coming out!

Aidan

My experience with micro-splitters suggests that where your trials are failing is on the agitation front. M/S require good agitation to be effective, and using a pile brush just isn't enough. You require a machine. The problem with berbers and loop pile wools/blends is that the agitation may pill the pile.  In which case, your detergent approach with a relatively light agitation could be the way to go.

If you wanted to use a micro splitter but stay with a pile brush for agitation, you could well be better off with a second generation M/S such as Nemesis Super or M Power. These type of products only require agitation to distribute the solution to all areas of the yarn/fibre where the chemical action will attack the soil. The first generation M/S requires the more intense agitation to physically break the soil away.

Safe and happy cleaning :)

i sprayed a filthy foam back with pure clean and i have to say it came up a treat, even the draught marks. i didn't agitate but i did put a tidy amount down as it was a one up one down for a letting agent and i wanted to get home!!

And they aren't going down/bust ;D

Colin you are spot on, I find that if you put more down and with an aggressive spray not a fine jet the aggitation is done for you, but that's only with Pure clean it doesn't work that way with liquid MS.
